I could say the Hudson Valley is a mecca of things to do during the holidays, but I wouldn’t be doing it justice, because it’s a mecca all year around. The holidays add in a zip to the air topped with a pristine white layer of snow like frosting on one of our delicious innkeeper’s cupcakes.
Every year the Hudson Valley offers more events, more fairs, more specialty food companies and farmers markets, more farm to table restaurants and more cultural activities in addition to the wealth of historic venues, cuisines and dining from a huge variety of cultures and wealth of small businesses that cater both to tourist and local alike it already has.
For those coming to the area to ski, here are some of the places in the Hudson Valley to find some snow fun! Whether you are a die-hard powder hound, a X-Cross Country ski fanatic, snowshoer or boarder, the Valley offers something for everyone.
