The Hudson Valley has a wealth of ski areas, from Downhill to Cross Country offerings to fit any skill level, and terrains that appeal to any range, from beginners to freestylers to rippers. What is a more perfect vacation than coming to the beautiful Hudson Valley, checking in at one of our member B&Bs, getting a comfortable night’s sleep in anticipation of the next day, a delicious breakfast to send you off and then off to get catch some big air at a local ski area?

If you are coming to the Valley for the holidays, many of the resorts have discounted tickets the first week in January for College week, and the weeks leading up to Christmas and New Years have some fun events as well! Windham Mountain offers a Nightmare for Christmas on December 17, a unique snowboard event, Skiing and Riding Santas on December 18, get a free lift ticket for the day if you make like Santa for the day, and a New Year’s Eve Grand Buffet and Celebration on December 31, with fireworks after an extensive buffet. Hunter Mountain also offers a New Year’s Eve Celebration on December 31, with fireworks and a torchlight parade.
